On an episode of The Colbert Report (originally aired on July 31, 2006), Stephen Colbert invented a word "wikiality" meaning the truth as changed by editors of Wikipedia.
By the end, Colbert made a call to his viewers to change Wikipedia to say that the number of elephants in Africa has tripled. Viewers en masse changed the article, prompting Wikipedia to lock the article from further edits. To this day, the Wikipedia article remains locked.
