Librarian Guide to Alma: Home

History

ex libris alma logoLibrary management software is essential to carrying out the mission of the Libraries, and subsequently the mission of the VCCS. This library system upgrade supports student success by enabling effective library service delivery and improved administrative management. The goal of this project was to replace siloed legacy systems (Aleph, SFX, MetaLib, and CORAL) and ensure continued library service through the implementation of a scalable library system that provides management for all library assets and compatibility with other VCCS systems. All 23 VCCS colleges successfully went live with Alma/Primo in late June, 2018.
